Our Reading Marathon will take place all day long during the One Voice For Languages Live, love, learn languages Language fair on May 6th.
We are looking for volunteers to read in any language except English. The aim is to show the diversity of languages present in Ireland, open people's minds, offer a moment of escape.
We ask you to read for 10 minutes, including the introduction of your reading and the passing over to the next person. When rehearsing your reading, aim for 8 minutes.
We welcome any type of text: extract from novels, short stories, poetry, recipes, children's stories...
So far, the following languages will be read:
- Basque
- Catalan
- French
- Georgian
- Greek (X2)
- Polish
- Spanish (X2)
